Durham Region Happy Hours 2026: 21 Spots With Deals

Quick answer: The most common happy hour window in Durham Region is 11 AM to 5 PM, with several 2 to 5 PM weekday windows too, and several Oshawa, Whitby and Ajax pubs sell $5 to $6 pints in that daytime window. As of November 1, 2026, TodaysTab tracks 23 Durham spots with a timed happy hour window, with the most in Oshawa.

Last verified November 1, 2026. Where a venue's own site and our records differ, or a venue publishes no times or prices, we say so, and you should call ahead. We re-check the list monthly.

Durham Region had 696,992 residents in the 2021 Census and Oshawa is its largest municipality at 175,383, according to a Region of Durham report on the 2021 Census. According to TodaysTab's checks on November 1, 2026, we track 139 active Durham venues and 45 have a special with a stated day or time window checked in the last 45 days. Of those, 23 list a timed happy hour. The most common window is 11 AM to 5 PM, listed by six venues, ahead of 2 to 5 PM at five. Five venues in our data, including Kings Tavern in Whitby, list a happy hour starting at 9 PM or later. The lowest drink price in our data is a $3.99 stein of Bud Light at The Canadian Brewhouse in Oshawa (from the chain's happy hour page); the lowest pint price we could read on a pub's own site is $5 at Chasers.

Downtown Oshawa

Berry Hill Bistro (82 King St W, Oshawa) runs Tuesday to Saturday, 3 to 5 PM: craft draft $6, a 1 oz hi-ball (vodka, gin, rye or rum) $6, a martini $6, classic cocktails $9, pulled pork sliders $4 and sweet potato fries $6. The venue's site lists it as closed Mondays.

Cork & Bean (8 Simcoe St N, Oshawa) has happy hour Monday to Saturday, 3 to 6 PM: drafts and house wine $6, and any can $2 off, according to its own site. TodaysTab's records show $5, so the site's $6 is what we quote.

King Street East and south Oshawa

The two King Street East pubs run the same pattern: cheap pints until 5 PM, then a different wing or combo deal each night. The Keg is on Stevenson Road South.

Portly Piper Pub Oshawa (557 King St E, Oshawa) sells 20 oz selected domestic and local craft pints for $5.50 daily from 11 AM to 5 PM. The site also lists half-price wings Monday and a $16 pint and pound on Sundays.

What's not on this list

We left these out because we could not confirm a current deal. Gabby's Kitchen and Bar at 214 Ritson Rd N in Oshawa is in our records with a $5 bar rail from 2 to 5 PM, but we could not find a current menu or happy hour page for it. Kelsey's and East Side Mario's in Bowmanville and The Old Newcastle House in Newcastle have specials in our data that we did not confirm. OpenTable's Durham lists also name Baxters Landing, Jack Astor's, State & Main and The Pickle Barrel, none of which we can confirm. Port Perry, Courtice and Bowmanville have almost no timed happy hours in our data.
